Twirlisha Devine

Born and raised in Chester, PA this whirlwind of sass and ass twirled into Burlesque and hasn’t looked back. Twirlisha trained in ballet, modern, tap and jazz as a child and spent much of her adult life working as a semi-professional and professional modern dancer in Philadelphia and NYC.

She thought her dance career had come to an end but decided to take some burlesque classes for fun and exercise and caught the glitter bug.

 

Since making her burlesque debut in San Diego in 2017, Twirlisha Devine has performed, featured, headlined and competed all over the U.S. and internationally leaving a trail of glitter and fireworks wherever she goes. She was the 2019 Fresh Face Feature for the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, the 2019 Master of Funk for What the Funk an All POC Burlesque Festival and has had the honor of performing in the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s VHoF showcases in 2020 and 2021.  Recently she has headlined Boundless Burlesque in Tucson, AZ, the Disabilitease Festival and Spellbound Burlesque in Phoenix, AZ, as well as performing in Jeezy’s Juke Joint in Chicago, the Juneteenth Jubilee in MPLS and Crying at the Disco in Indianapolis to name a select few.  She has now decided to add the role of producer to her repertoire and founded Twirlisha Devine Productions in 2023.  In it's inaugural year TDP boasts BIG DIVA ENERGY and a the fabulously successful weekender Twirlisha Devine presents Legends and Icons an All Black Burlesque Revue starring the legendary Shawna the Black Venus.  Twirlisha is just warming up and plans to continue throwing her body and creativity around on and offstage in these burlesque streets for many moons to come.  Stay tuned burly lovers… the Burn It Down Queen of Burlesque is on the rise!!
